How to Apply to FlexSchool New Haven
- The first step toward exploring whether FlexSchool is the right learning environment for your child is to attend an information session and tour. FlexSchool’s learning environment is often very different from what many families have experienced in the past. We offer a weekly information session and tour with Heidi Molbak, Head of Admissions and Outreach as well as Head of School, Kyle Kahuda. Prospective families will have the opportunity to see the school when students, faculty, and administration are present. We want you to experience the FlexSchool difference and have the opportunity to ask questions. To register for an information session, please fill out the form below and when you submit the form, you will follow the link to choose your preferred information session dates. If these dates are inconvenient for you, please contact Heidi (firstname.lastname@example.org) to schedule your private tour.
- If after touring the school and attending an information session, FlexSchool seems like a fit for you or your child, request an application and submit it along with report cards from the last three years, a transcript, any educational and psychological testing, standardized testing, and samples of student work (optional). We are always here to answer questions and support you through the application process.
- After reviewing the application, we will invite the student to spend a half or full day attending classes and getting to know the other students and faculty.
- The admissions team will evaluate the student’s fit for the school and notify the family of an admissions decision soon after the visit.
