- The first step in exploring whether FlexSchool is right for your family is to fill out our inquiry form. Once you have submitted the form, we will email you the link to our online application. We are also happy to answer any questions before you fill out the application; the process is being shortened so we can meet students and families in the next few weeks!
- If FlexSchool seems like a fit for you or your child, we will ask you to submit scores from one standardized test. We will accept any one of the following: COGAT, ISEE, SSAT, COOP, WISC/WAIS, Woodcock-Johnson, and MAP. If you have alternate testing, please email or call us. Students with learning challenges should provide supporting documentation, either in an IEP, 504, educational testing results or a neuropsychological report. We can also refer families to professionals who are good at evaluating gifted and 2e students. We also request that you submit or bring report cards or transcripts.
- Our team will review the reports and email you to schedule an appointment.
- After the interview, the admissions team will evaluate the student’s fit for the school and notify the family of an admissions decision as soon as possible. Our goal is to say, “yes”.
If you are applying for financial aid, you will need to complete a financial aid application as well. This link will take you to a flyer describing the FlexSchool financial aid application process. Please ignore the application dates listed on this flyer, as they are not for the Rockville campus. We will update everyone with important financial aid application dates as we move through the process.
