    Berkeley Heights families are Invited to a Spectacular Fall Festival! 
    📅 Friday, November 3rd 🕧 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. 

    Come one, come all to our fabulous Fall Festival! This event promises a fun-filled day for the whole family. Here's what you can look forward to:
    🍰 Bake Sale: Satisfy your sweet tooth with delicious treats, and support our school community at the same time. 
    🍔 Lunch and Snacks: We've got your hunger covered! Enjoy a variety of lunch and snack options.
    🎨 Fall-Themed Crafts and Games: Our talented teachers will be running booths with creative crafts and exciting games for everyone to enjoy.
    🏰 Haunted House: Designed and operated by our Student Council, this haunted house promises thrills, chills, and plenty of spooky surprises!
    🎤 Live Student Performances: Be entertained by the incredible talent of our students as they take the stage with live performances.

    We extend a warm welcome to all FlexSchool families to join us for this festive occasion! All proceeds from the event will be reinvested back into the FlexSchool community, ensuring that we continue to provide a supportive and enriching educational environment.

  • Halloween Formal Feat. DJ Lord Judah

    On Friday, November 3rd, the Bronxville student council will host our first annual Halloween Formal! Students are encouraged to Dress to Impress! DJ Lord Judah will join us to provide the tunes, and students will also have the chance to write their own songs. Come ready to dance and celebrate!

  • Unleash Your Creativity! Cloud Campus x Self-Portrait & Caricature Drawing Lesson

    The Cloud campus will discover the magic of artistic expression during this virtual drawing lesson. Students will delve into the captivating world of caricature and self-portrait creation! 🌟
    Led by artist Miguel Cossio this interactive session is designed to inspire and guide students of all levels in the art of creating striking caricatures and authentic self-portraits. Whether you're a beginner eager to grasp the fundamentals or an experienced artist aiming to refine your techniques, this lesson promises to ignite your passion for drawing!

    Field trip to the Tenement Museum

    On Friday, November 17th, students will take a field trip to New York City's Tenement Museum! At the museum, students will explore themes of immigration through building tours. In particular, students will visit the recreated apartment exhibits of the Gumpertz family in the 1870s and the Wong family in the 1970s to explore community, work, and immigration in two different centuries. Mrs. Gumpertz and Mrs. Wong both worked in the garment industry and raised families in tenements, and their stories will help us explore patterns and differences across time.

    Please come prepared with a packed lunch!
    Transportation will depart promptly at 9 AM
  • High School: What's it Like to be a Reporter?

    Are you passionate about storytelling? Curious about the world around you? Ever dreamt of becoming a reporter?  Join us for an immersive event designed to explore the world of journalism. Interact with veteran reporters as they share insights into the world of news reporting. The program will focus on the importance of truthful reporting; fact vs. fiction, and how to verify information and speak to interviewees. Students will reflect on how they can write and speak clearly to engage a range of audiences. 

    Learn firsthand from seasoned journalists about covering breaking news, and crafting compelling narratives.
  • Grades 5-8: Human Percussion

    Do you enjoy expressing yourself through dance? Have you ever tried to use your body as an instrument of rhythm? Percussive dance combines drumming and dance in a welcoming environment catered to beginning and advanced movers alike. This virtual class is about grooving along with our own internal rhythms in order to make music as a group. Explore the synthesis of global cultures in percussive dance in a fun, supportive atmosphere.

    Berkeley Heights High Schoolers - The Museum of Moving Image

    On Thursday, November 30th, Berkeley Heights High Schoolers will visit The Museum of Moving Image. There, students will learn about how moving images are made, marketed, and shown while discovering the many careers open to them in the moving-image industries. Led by a Museum educator, students will explore the museum's exhibits, discuss artifacts and artworks, and experiment with hands-on interactive experiences.
