FlexFriday: Poet and Author Tina Kelley

Award-winning journalist, author, and poet, Tina Kelley, will visit the Berkeley Heights campus on March 4th to share her poetry with students and inspire new writers with writing activities. Her work is known for looking at a realistic look at our culture with wit, humor, and empathy. Tina Kelley is the author of Abloom and Awry, Precise, and The Gospel of Galore, winner of a 2003 Washington State Book Award. She co-authored Almost Home: Helping Kids Move from Homelessness to Hope, and she reported for the New York Times for 10 years, sharing a staff Pulitzer Prize for 9/11 coverage.
