Emotional Support

Some FlexSchool students may have suffered from anxiety and depression in former academic settings. Many find that symptoms decrease in a challenging yet supportive academic environment. We are not an appropriate setting for students with behavioral issues that will not resolve in a more adaptable environment.
FlexSchool doesn’t have therapy during weekly appointments unless required by an IEP. Instead, we maintain advanced academics by helping students as needed rather than constantly pulling students out of classes at times when they may not need support.

Online students have an emotional and learning support system – all day. A social worker, art therapist, or learning specialist is available in a support room during the school day for immediate help.

Students on physical campuses also have emotional and learning support available as needed on campus during the school day.
