The Bronxville Beekeepers Guild is buzzing with activity again! Each season, our students have the opportunity to delve into the fascinating world of Apis mellifera—the honeybee. Through immersive hands-on experience, our student beekeepers learn all about the lives and care of these important pollinators, from their biology and life cycle to why bees are essential to our ecosystem, and how to care for them responsibly. And the sweetest part? The honey, wax, and honeycomb extracted from our hives have been a hit at our school fundraisers!
