FlexFriday: Mural Project

On Friday, February 28th, Bronxville students will be joined by Piero Manrique, "a Contemporary Artist with over 27 years of experience in Fine art Painting & an Architectural Designer A.I.A. associate with over 15 years of Experience in architecture.  His work has been exhibited in galleries in the U.S. and Europe. He has won numerous awards and has collaborated on the design of spaces for notable individuals.  In addition to his work as a fine artist, Manrique also designs commercial and residential spaces, mixed-media electronic graphics art and sculptures."

Piero will share his career and background with the students, what it is like being a muralist--including who commissioned his art--and how he transitioned to working as an architect, He is also bringing some of his pieces to show everyone, and will do a Q & A. Afterward, the Art Collaborative Enrichment Cluster, as well all other interested students, will begin designing and painting their own FlexSchool Mural with Piero's expert guidance!
