FlexSchool Welcomes Melissa Essman as Director of Admissions

We are delighted to announce that Melissa Essman has joined FlexSchool as our new Director of Admissions.

Melissa brings over a decade of experience in admissions and enrollment, having supported families at both the secondary and post-secondary levels. She is passionate about helping students and parents find the right educational fit, believing deeply that every student has the potential to thrive when they are in an environment that recognizes and nurtures their strengths.

Melissa earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Quinnipiac University and describes herself as an “accidental, but passionate” enrollment professional. What began as a career path she stumbled into has become her true calling—guiding families through the admissions process with warmth, insight, and care. She especially enjoys witnessing the growth and progress of students throughout their years in school.

Outside of FlexSchool, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, and puppy. She is an avid reader, home cook, and music lover.
