The Icelandic Yule Lads are Coming to Berkeley Heights!

Middle schoolers, bring a shoe to leave by the window – and be on your best behavior! According to Icelandic folklore, 13 troll-like characters known as the Yule Lads will take turns paying a visit each night to deliver a surprise. Well-behaved children will find a gift in their shoe, while naughty ones risk receiving a potato – or worse, being gobbled up by an ogress! All middle schoolers are asked to bring a shoe by December 11 to join the fun during this cultural exploration.
