FlexFriday: Scenic Winter Hike at Hacklebarney State Park

Please bring your boots, your sense of adventure and your sense of humor – conditions vary at this time of year! In the event the trails are too muddy or snowy to be passable, we will have outdoor activities for an impromptu parking lot party. In the 19th century, this park was a mined iron ore site. Now a favorite spot for anglers, hikers and picnickers, Hacklebarney State Park in Long Valley, NJ is home to over a hundred bird species and wildlife such as woodchuck, deer and fox. Visit the website for more information.
