FlexFriday: Mind Games–Intelligence Analysis
Spies go out into the world to collect secrets, but without analysis, there is no real meaning. Analysts comb through collected intel to find connections and patterns, sniff out deception, and give context – all while avoiding the mental traps that can skew their results. In a highly interactive program where students are polled for their decisions and observations, discuss options, and form conclusions – they will test their analytical skills, reveal their cognitive biases, and dive into the world of intelligence analysis! -
FlexFriday: Concordia Music Conservatory
For our first FlexFriday of the 2021-2022 school year, the Concordia Music Conservatory has invited Bronxville students for an exciting Open House event. The day's programming will feature a musical performance, a tour of the technology lab, a discussion of music course offerings, such as Rock Band and Music Composition, and a brief presentation of the Holiday Community Musical. -
FlexFriday: Virtual Trip to Paterson Falls
Paterson Great Falls and the surrounding areas are the result of a distinct and ordered combination of geologic events. During this virtual event, students will discover how the Great Falls and the landscape inspired Alexander Hamilton and others to develop the first planned industrial city in this location. -

FlexFriday: Ann Arbor Museum and Leslie Science & Nature Center
Together with the Leslie Science & Nature Center, Bronxville students will create a food chain using LIVE animals (hawk/owl, snake, frog, spider and roach). Starting with a roach as our decomposer, we will take a close look at five live animals (hawk/owl, snake, frog, spider and roach) on a guided tour up a food chain. On our journey we will discuss how these animals are all connected and learn about the delicate balance that allows them to survive both individually and as wildlife sharing a habitat. -
FlexFriday: Patterson Falls
This week, Berkeley Heights students will enjoy a visit to The Great Falls of Paterson and witness the remnants of an industrial economy that is now a tourist destination. -

FlexFriday: Pleasantville Community Garden
On Friday, September 24, our high school students will travel by bus for an afternoon service trip at the Pleasantville Community Garden (PCG). The PCG grows fresh, nutritious food for donation to local food pantries – an important component of a crucial food supply that might otherwise only include nonperishable and canned foods. -
FlexFriday: Drones!
Courtesy of a FlexSchool parent, Berkeley Heights students will learn about drone technology and have the opportunity to observe and participate in an afternoon of drone races on September 24th.
