    Hudson River Meetup

This week, FlexSchool will bridge the gap between our two physical campuses -- both figuratively and literally! From our respective sides of the Hudson River, each campus community will enjoy a scenic walk halfway across the new pedestrian path on the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, and meet in the middle at the beautiful Painters Point overlook for some socially distant photo ops!
  • FlexFriday: Baseball Hall of Fame

Maybe Issac Newton couldn’t snap a pop fly, but he can coach you in the surprisingly scientific feat of catching up to a 100 miles per hour fastball in just 0.4 seconds and sending it into orbit! Step out of the dugout and up to the plate as the Baseball Hall of Fame delivers a lively look at science on the sandlot. Students will learn the physics behind making pitches and hitting a baseball.

This week, FlexSchool students will visit the Deserted Village! Over the course of three centuries, this area has been a farming community, a quasi-utopian mill town, a deserted village, and a summer resort.
