Jordan O’Kelley Visits the Cloud Campus
Author, speaker, and 2e student Jordan O’Kelley took Cloud FlexFriday students through his journey to early entrance at Cal State LA (where he is majoring in Physics with a minor in Mathematics) – emphasizing the importance of agency in the life of the 2e student’s academic path. Cloud students had an opportunity to ask Jordan all about his unique and winding educational road, and got practical advice from someone who has been where they are!
Jordan has written articles, participated in podcasts, and spoken at education conferences and universities on his experiences with public and private education as a 2e student. He is a part of The O’Kelley Lab— a grassroots effort to promote support, resources, and creative solutions for neurodivergent and gifted individuals. Jordan also created a YouTube video, “2e Like Me,” to promote 2e awareness and advocacy, and is featured in the award-winning documentary, “O’Kelley Legends: 2e Behind the Scenes.”
